日本の文化と季節を感じたくておひなさまを飾ってみた。
ほかにもいろんなタイプのおひなさまを持っているんだけど、今年はこの子達が好き。ぽってりした形と漆塗りの質感が素敵。

I have many other types of ohinasama, but this year I like these girls. The chubby shape and the lacquered texture are wonderful.
おひなさまを飾る時期は？
ネットで調べてみたら、節分の頃から桃の節句の頃（2月はじめ〜3月3日）に飾るのがいいそうだ。完全に出遅れた。飾り出したのは3月3日だから。1日だけ飾るのは縁起が悪いそうだから2〜3日飾ったらしまおう。来年はちゃんと節分の頃から飾ろう。
When to decorate Ohinasama?
I looked it up on the Internet and found that it is best to decorate around the time of Setsubun to the time of Momo-no-Sekku (beginning of February to March 3). I was completely late. I heard that it is bad luck to decorate for only one day, so I'll put it away after decorating for two or three days. Next year, I'll start decorating around the time of Setsubun.
おひなさまはなぜ飾るのか？
女の子の無病息災と良い結婚ができるようにと願いを込めて。飾っても飾らなくても人生っていろいろあるんだけど、ひとりの人間として生まれてきたら親としては祈る以上のことはできないだろうな。
Why do we decorate Ohinasama?
To wish for good health and a good marriage for girls. Life is full of things whether we decorate it or not, but as parents, we can do nothing more than pray for her when she is born as one person.
ちなみに３月３日を過ぎてもおひなさまを飾っているのは「婚期が遅れる」と言って避けられるんだけど、私はもうすでに婚期は過ぎているから大丈夫。自由にさせて頂くわ。
By the way, people avoid displaying Ohinasama after March 3, saying that it delays their marriage, but I am fine with that because I am already out of wedlock. I am free to do as I please.
